Speaking French in Texas

I’m speaking French in Texas
I never knew I spoke French but apparently I do
Sometimes I say things I don’t mean to say
And sometimes I hear it the wrong way
Luckily we can step back and correct the miscommunication
And then reengage in our French lesson

And perhaps that is it, a life long lesson in speaking another language.
